Skills Bootcamp
Date
Description
ProjectSet is an EdTech startup that focuses on bridging the gap between education and employment for students and recent graduates. Before I joined the company, ProjectSet had previously mainly been designing and promoting hackathons (virtual competitions) as a way to propagate their project-based-learning methodology. In comparison, Skills Bootcamp is a non-competitive, free skills training programme where students can develop a range of employability skills (problem solving, design thinking, prototyping etc.) while networking with industry professionals and building a demonstrable digital portfolio.
I conceptualised, branded, designed, marketed and hosted the programme as a pilot to test its uptake and response during the summer of 2021. This was done in close collaboration with the Product Manager. The programme was supported by ISE with over 600 students and recent graduates registered, and mentors from numerous organisations like Aviva Investors, Investment 2020 etc. supporting us.
With the success of the programme, ProjectSet decided to add it as an annual feature to their events calendar with us running the programme again in the summer of 2022 with similar success. In the build up for 2022 along with using the existing branding I had created and 2021 and adding new marketing materials, I was tasked to also have the programme assessed and accredited by CPD. This included making sure all the learning material was branded cohesively and clear lesson plans and teaching notes were developed for smooth structuring of the programme.
Below you can see some example branding graphics, the landing page for signup, marketing material and social media graphics that I developed and used for the programme.
